{"id":12337,"date":"2020-06-11T19:48:25","date_gmt":"2020-06-11T19:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbartholomewsclasses\/?p=12337"},"modified":"2020-06-11T19:48:25","modified_gmt":"2020-06-11T19:48:25","slug":"p5-daily-plan-friday-12-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbartholomewsclasses\/2020\/06\/11\/p5-daily-plan-friday-12-june\/","title":{"rendered":"P5 Daily Plan &#8211; Friday 12 June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning everyone, today we are sticking with the sports day theme!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Taught Writing \u2013 Sports Day Recount<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your task today is to write a recount of yesterday\u2019s St Bart\u2019s virtual sports day.<\/li>\n<li>In a recount you are writing in the past tense.<\/li>\n<li>You need to write in paragraphs to separate your writing.<\/li>\n<li>You can give each paragraph a title if you like and you can use paragraph openers such as first, then and finally as you will see on your template.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Sports Day Comprehension<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the comprehension folder on glow and click on Sports Day.<\/li>\n<li>Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow.<\/li>\n<li>Remember to answer in full sentences where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Maths \u2013 The Mystery of the Sports Day Trophy<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Today\u2019s maths is a problem solving activity.<\/li>\n<li>There are lots of activities within the challenge for you to try.<\/li>\n<li>Each one will give you the answer to a clue and at the end you should be able to work out who the trophy thief is. Good luck!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Sumdog<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The Sumdog challenge is still ongoing.
