Spelling:\u00a0<\/strong>Group 1 \u2013 Here are your words:\u00a0\u00a0separate, announcing, cough, fierce and necessary.\u00a0<\/strong>Write them three times and write a sentence with each word, using other ambitious words.<\/p>\n Group 2 \u2013 Here are your words:\u00a0brother,\u00a0son,\u00a0nothing,\u00a0worry\u00a0and\u00a0work.\u00a0<\/strong>Write your words in Pyramid spelling today.<\/p>\n 2. Punctuation Focu<\/strong>s \u2013 In the Literacy area of Glow there is a Punctuation Focus with today’s date. Re-write the paragraph adding in all the punctuation. Look out for capital letters, full stops, commas, speech marks and question marks. The answers will be posted later today.<\/p>\n 3. Reading –\u00a0<\/strong>Go onto www.oxfordowl.co.uk. Click ‘my class log in’ at the top. Log in with the following details:<\/p>\n Username \u2013 stbartsprimary6a<\/p>\n Password \u2013 reading<\/p>\n Diamonds\u00a0 and Emeralds – Click on ‘My Bookshelf’ and search for the book called ‘Air Raid!’ Read chapters 1-3. Write 5 sentences about what happened in the story so far. Write 3 sentences about what you think might happen next.<\/p>\n Rubies and Sapphires –\u00a0Click on ‘My Bookshelf’ and search for the book called ‘The Personality Potion.’ Read up to page 28. Write 5 sentences about what happened so far. Write 2 sentences about what you think might happen next.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n NUMERACY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n 4. Mental Maths –\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Open the folder called \u2018Mental Maths\u2019 within the Numeracy section of our Glow page. Complete \u2018Monday\u2019 of Mental Maths 20.04.20 Page 1.<\/p>\n 5.\u00a0 Group 1 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Open ‘Division by a single digit 20.04.20’ in Group 1’s folder in the Numeracy section. Spend 30 minutes on this task – don’t worry if you don’t get it all finished. Just try your best \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Group 2 \u2013 <\/strong>Open\u00a0‘Place Value up to 100,000’ in Group 2’s folder in the Numeracy section of Glow. Complete questions 1-6.<\/p>\n 6.
