I hope you are all well. Here is today&#8217;s suggested plan. Remember do what you can and send me pictures to keep me up to date. I will post a message on Glow this afternoon. Try to reply to me when you see it.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LITERACY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Spelling:\u00a0<\/strong>Group 1 &#8211; Find the suffix &#8216;ment&#8217; meaning\u00a0 &#8216;an act of..(the root word)&#8217; on your grid. Choose a fun spelling task and write your words three times. Try to come up with your own words for this suffix.<\/p>\n<p>Group 2 &#8211; Choose a fun spelling task and write your words for today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Diamonds and Emeralds \u2013 You are going to read \u2018An Indian in the Cupboard\u2019, it is in the Diamonds and Emeralds section on Glow. It is quite a long passage, so take your time. Write a paragraph to tell me what it is about. Try to include at least 6 sentences.\u00a0 You will be answering questions on this tomorrow so this will help you! Send me your summary on Dojo.<\/p>\n<p>Rubies and Sapphires \u2013\u00a0You are going to read \u2018The Butterfly Lion\u2019, it is in the Rubies and Sapphires folder in the Literacy section. Write 6 sentences to tell me what the passage is about. Try to have 2 sentences for the beginning, 2 for the middle and 2 for the end.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Break<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>MATHS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Tables Skills<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Practise your 6 and 7 times table to yourself. Choose two and try to write down 2 other number sentences with the same numbers (The multiplication and division ones we do in class when you swap the numbers around. For example: 6 x 7 = 42, we also know that 7 x 6 = 42 and 42\u00a0\u00f7 6 = 7).<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Maths Exercise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Group 1 \u2013 Remember when you multiply decimals you move the digits to the left. You are going to complete the task called \u2018Multiplying decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 31.03.20\u2019 in Group 1 folder in, then Fractions, Decimals and Percentages folder in the Numeracy section. Copy and complete the table. I will talk you through how many places to move the digits to the left if you get stuck! Just send me a message on Dojo.<\/p>\n<p>Group 2 \u2013 We are working on subtraction and with bigger numbers. You are going to complete \u2018Subtraction Revision Exercise 31.03.20\u2019 in Group 2\u2019s folder in the Numeracy section. If you get stuck just send me a message and I will help you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. R.E. &#8211; The Stations of the Cross<\/strong>. Watch this video &#8211;\u00a0https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=j0qv7c4PsrA<\/p>\n<p>Write down all of the Stations of the Cross as you watch it again. I have added a PowerPoint into the R.E. section in Glow to help you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Play Sumdog<\/strong>\u00a0only if you get everything finished! Remember don\u2019t worry if you don\u2019t finish everything, just try your best \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>If you need help with anything, get in touch on Glow or Dojo and I will talk you through it.
