In our topic work we have been exploring where our food comes from. We found out that lots of our fruit comes from countries very far away. We wanted to taste some of it, so we made our own fruit salad.<\/p>\n\n

In maths this week primary 2 were working on subtraction skills. This involved games, partner activities, individual challenges and team activities.<\/p>\n\n
We always know our targets for the week, they are displayed on our smart board. Each day some of us make it onto the target! Look who has achieved this week…. Many thanks to all of the people who donated cakes and biscuits for our cake sale! It was a huge success. So far we have raised \u00a3122 for Mary’s Meals. It costs \u00a312.20 to feed one child for a year, so we have raised enough money to feed 10 children for a year and the government will double it, so that makes 20.
