punctuation focus- posted on dojo – answers posted at three oclock<\/p>\n
Spelling- this week we are all looking at spelling rules<\/p>\n
Words are on dojo if you have lost them.<\/p>\n
copy down each word under the appropriate rule. Choose six words and write adventurous sentences using the words in the correct context.<\/p>\n
Try the reading passages from glow<\/p>\n
Gryffindor and Ravenclaw try the \u201cdog stole my tractor\u201d passage<\/p>\n
huffle puff try the story a greedy wolf which is in your reading activity section on glow.<\/p>\n
Write the answers in your jotter.<\/p>\n
After break it is time for maths.<\/p>\n
Start with the 20 mental maths questions- check it is the correct ones. Answers will be posted at three o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n
Now we will continue with our percentage work. I will talk you through this on dojo – follow up from glow.<\/p>\n
Go into the percentage of amount folder in numeracy and we will complete the page matching fractions to percentages.<\/p>\n
After that it is sum dog time- I have set up quite a few challenges for you!<\/p>\n

Topic- write me an explanation of why you think someone like Vera Lynn was needed during world war 2. Consider… what did she do? Who did she help? Why did people need this help?<\/p>\n
Current affairs-design a poster persuading people to only go out if it is necessary. This is a modern day piece but you may want to think back to the posters of the war.<\/p>\n
Please send me your afternoons work over dojo. I would love to see what you achieve.<\/p>\n
