Good morning everyone! \u00a0<\/p>\n
Following on from yesterday, here are some learning suggestions for today.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Literacy: \u00a0<\/p>\n
– Common Words: use the \u2018Common Words PowerPoint\u2019 on Glow to look at the new\u00a0words (Glow > literacy > phonemes and common words > phonemes and common\u00a0words of the week).\u00a0<\/p>\n
– If you have time, complete some of the challenges at the end of the PowerPoint.\u00a0Please note that the Alligators group should use the common words within the\u00a0\u2018Alligators\u2019 folder. \u00a0<\/p>\n
– Use the Doorway online website to practise some of your phonemes. Details for this\u00a0website are on Glow (Glow > literacy > online games > online literacy games). \u00a0<\/p>\n
– Continue to read your book\/choose a book from Oxford Owl to read with an adult. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Numeracy: \u00a0<\/p>\n
– Practise your 2, 4 & 8 times tables (Glow > numeracy > times tables > times tables\u00a0chanting).\u00a0<\/p>\n
– Talk about \u2018time\u2019 with an adult. Share what you have learned so far. \u00a0<\/p>\n
– Log into Sumdog and choose the \u2018time\u2019 task. Start working your way through this.\u00a0There are 250 questions on this task; you do not need to complete these all in one\u00a0day. These can be done over time. \u00a0<\/p>\n
R.E.:\u00a0<\/p>\n
– I have uploaded an activity related to the Stations of the Cross. This can be done\u00a0over 2 weeks. Choose 2-3 stations to do for each R.E. activity (Glow > Religious\u00a0Education > Stations of the Cross). \u00a0<\/p>\n
– \u00a0<\/p>\n
Some of you have been sharing pictures and messages with me on Glow and Class Dojo. It\u00a0has been lovely to see how everyone is doing. If you get a chance, please feel free to write\u00a0on our class newsfeed on Glow, or via message on Class Dojo. I have set up some home\u00a0dojo points to share with the children when they have shared their learning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
