Have a great day!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>9.00 \u2013 10.35<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>LITERACY<\/u><\/p>\n<p>09:10-09:30 Spelling \u2013 Write your words 3 times. Write them in alphabetical order. Group 1 &#8211; choose 5 words from your grid that you have already covered. Group 2 &#8211; use your words that have been allocated for today.<\/p>\n<p>09:30- 10:35 Reading<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diamonds and Emeralds<\/strong> \u2013 Complete the Comprehension Questions of The Demon Headmaster. Re-read the passage. Write the next page of the story using the first page as a starter. Remember you are writing from Dinah&#8217;s point of view.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rubies and Sapphires<\/strong> \u2013 Open the folder called \u2018Rubies and Sapphires\u2019 within the Literacy section of our glow page. Re-read \u2018The Dog and his Reflection\u2019 passage. Write a summary using your own words, recording what you think the key points are in the passage. Use paragraphs if you can.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>10:50-12:30<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>NUMERACY<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Mental Maths<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the folder called \u2018Mental Maths\u2019 within the Numeracy section of our Glow page. Complete \u2018Tuesday\u2019 of the first page.<\/li>\n<li>Practise your 11 and 12 times table.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Group 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the \u2018Group 1\u2019 folder within the Numeracy section of Glow. Complete the revision exercise called \u2018Decimals Page 1 24.03.20\u2019.\u00a0Remember to click on &#8216;download&#8217; at the top left of the screen to view the task rotated the correct way.<\/li>\n<li>Challenge \u2013 create your own subtraction problem that can be solved using Negative numbers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Group 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the \u2018Group 2\u2019 folder within the Numeracy section of Glow. Complete the\u00a0 exercise called \u2018Subtraction page 1 24.03.20\u2019. Open the PowerPoint called &#8216;Scottish and English Soldier&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Create a comparison table with two columns &#8211; Scottish Soldier and English Soldier at the top of each column.<\/li>\n<li>Choose a Scottish or English soldier.
