Our Primary 4’s will be making their First Communion at St Bartholomew’s church\u00a0 during 11am Mass. Miss Seggie has prepared the children very well and I know that they are all looking forward to this very special event. Our entire Parish community has been \u00a0praying for these children over a number of weeks and I know that has been a huge support to them and their families. We all\u00a0appreciate it.<\/p>\n

Mr Young will pop in today to see the First Communicants and will provide the musical accompaniment to the beautiful hymns that the children have been practising. I am sure that he will find the time to catch up with all the children and carry out a quick visit to each class. The boys and girls will be delighted to see him again!<\/p>\n

Our Pupil Voice meetings take place today and Mrs McLean has organised for each group to organise a ‘You said’, ‘We did’ display. Children from each group will discuss the types of activities and positive changes that their group has been responsible for and then discuss the actions that they have taken. A display of a few of these important point will be made in the main foyer. I am looking forward to being reminded of all the great work that the Pupil Voice groups have achieved over the year.<\/p>\n
