| Taking a journey<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n You and your family are making a journey and it may snow. \u00a0Make a list of what you will need to take to ensure you will be safe.<\/td>\n Being a reporter<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n | You are a newspaper reporter. \u00a0Write a report on some of the news items you have heard. \u00a0Illustrate your information. \u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Make a map of a main street near where you live. \u00a0Draw in as many details as you can. \u00a0Don’t forget street names and places of interest to you e.g. the park or shop.<\/td>\n Find out about a Scottish hero. \u00a0Write and illustrate all you can about your research so that you can give a presentation to your class when you are back in school.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Help an adult with one of the following tasks – dusting, preparing dinner or setting a table.<\/td>\n You are an artist. \u00a0Look out of your window and draw what you can see. \u00a0Remember shape, shade and perspective.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Draw a picture of your favourite DVD cover. \u00a0Find out the title and names of the main characters.<\/td>\n Look around your house for shapes. \u00a0List all the things that you can see that are a square, rectangle, circle, triangle, oval, cube, cuboid, sphere and prism. <\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Measure your height and the heights of everyone in your family in centimetres.
