If you are in this age bracket you don&#8217;t need to have a child at home to qualify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a householder*;<\/li>\n<li>Have savings of less than \u00a3700;<\/li>\n<li>Have a net annual income of less than \u00a326,600, (assuming you have a regular income, this is the same as having less than \u00a32,217 per month or less than \u00a3511 per week);<\/li>\n<li>Be entitled to Council Tax Reduction<strong>\u00a0(we will check this).<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you do not currently receive Council Tax Reduction, you should still meet with all other criteria and\u00a0have no recourse to public funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note any disability benefits (DLA\/PIP\/AA) are disregarded and not included as income.<\/p>\n<p>*Only 1 application per household please.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">All applications will be verified via the council tax scheme and any duplicate applications will be rejected.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">When and how to apply<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"ace-paragraph-basic-paragraph\">\n<div class=\"ace-field-body\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Applications will be accepted from 13 January 2022. The deadline will be <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">7 February at 5pm<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">. The form will be removed after this time.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>So don\u2019t delay,\u00a0<a title=\"Fuel Hardship Payment Application\" href=\"https:\/\/www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk\/form\/apply-for-a-fuel-poverty-payment?utm_source=website&amp;utm_medium=internal+link&amp;utm_campaign=Fuel+Payment&amp;utm_id=Fuel+Hardship+Payment&amp;utm_term=Created+Jan+22&amp;utm_content=Basic+eligibility+criteria\">APPLY HERE<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">When successful applicants will receive the payment<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"ace-paragraph-basic-paragraph\">\n<div class=\"ace-field-body\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">The process of making payments to successful applicants will begin during the third week in February.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Additional support for applicants<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"ace-paragraph-basic-paragraph\">\n<div class=\"ace-field-body\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Applicants will also be offered free support and assistance from our team of experts within the council and our partner agencies.\u00a0 You will be asked if you would like to speak to someone about your benefits, debt advice and budgeting.
