Today is the last day of school before the summer break.<\/p>\n
It’s probably not how we were expecting the last day to look at the start of the year.<\/p>\n
I just wanted to wish you well and hope you all have a lovely summer holiday.\u00a0 I know this year has been very different from any that have come before it, but the best bit of every day is doing something you haven’t done before, so take the summer and do something you haven’t done before.<\/p>\n
It’s time to<\/p>\n
Learn a new skill,<\/p>\n
Play a new instrument,<\/p>\n
Dance a new dance,<\/p>\n
Sing a new song,<\/p>\n
Taste a new taste,<\/p>\n
Smell a new smell (not that kind of smell),<\/p>\n
and come back in August with a story to tell.<\/p>\n
You’re Primary 7 now, you really need to be cool,<\/p>\n
If you ever hope to rule the school.<\/p>\n
Your buddies will be waiting,<\/p>\n
They’re looking for a clue.<\/p>\n
Something to help them on their way,<\/p>\n
That something could be you.<\/p>\n
So good luck you little somethings,<\/p>\n
There’s nothing left to say.<\/p>\n
Just a million things for you to do<\/p>\n
In every summer’s day.<\/p>\n
