Let us begin, as we always do, with our morning prayer. \"\"<\/p>\n

God our Father<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As we prepare to begin our work<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We ask you to help us to use properly the many gifts you have given us<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So that we may fully benefit from our day together.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought it would be nice to start today with some positive thoughts. Write down 3 things that you are grateful for. Get the other members of your family to do the same and then sit together and share what you are all grateful for. Every day I am grateful for, my friends and family, a roof over my head and my health. You can list any 3 things that you feel grateful for on a daily basis. \"\"<\/p>\n

Here are today\u2019s Health and Wellbeing and This Is Our Faith activities-<\/p>\n

Thursday 4th June- Health and Wellbeing\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

We were talking yesterday about how important it is to look after our bodies. Drinking plenty especially during exercise and warm weather to keep us hydrated. \u00a0Our bodies are amazing things.<\/p>\n

Here is a little activity to keep you busy and at the same time learn about all of the parts that make up \u2018US\u2019!!<\/p>\n

Have you got a roll of wallpaper lying around or if you have been receiving lots of packages (did you know all our posties are busier than their busiest time of the year, Christmas!) during lockdown and have cardboard boxes around I want you to lie them flat on the ground and get someone in your house to draw round you. \u00a0(The weather\u2019s not looking that good today but should be dry so even do this task outside).<\/p>\n

Here we have our template!! \u00a0Can you label and identify as many parts of the human body – all our organs? \u00a0See if you can have a good guess at where they are located. \u00a0Our heart should be easy, what about our lungs, liver etc. \u00a0Try to see how many you can find. \u00a0You could even put your artistic talents to good use and draw them in.<\/p>\n

Thursday 4th June- This Is Our Faith<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we know things just now are very different from what we are used to.\u00a0 By now our new Primary 1 children would have been in to visit the school but, like you, they have not been able to come in for their visits.\u00a0 We are thinking that it would be a lovely idea for you to say a little prayer for them.\u00a0 In order to make them feel welcome to our school in August, I would like you to choose the word for your stage below, write\/colour it on a sheet of paper, hold it up and ask an adult to take a picture of you holding your word with a big smile and if it is possible you could wear your uniform.\u00a0 Please email your picture to gw13reidsiobhan@glow.sch.uk. <\/b>We will use these to make our Primary 1’s feel very welcome in school.<\/p>\n
