Thank you to those who sent me over their best memory of their time at St Barbara\u2019s. If you haven\u2019t yet sent me yours over can you please do so today? Jesus gave them the gift of speaking different languages to be able to carry out his work all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>The Holy Spirit came to us in the Sacrament of Baptism and will or has come again to us in the\u00a0 Sacrament of Confirmation.\u00a0 Talk to an adult about your Baptism\/Confirmation (if you have made it yet).\u00a0 Think about all the wonderful gifts God has given us and give thanks to the Lord for all that we have to be glad of.\u00a0 Just like the disciples we give thanks to the Lord of all the gifts he has given us.\u00a0 We are so grateful to God for always being with us.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbarbaras\/files\/2020\/05\/gifts.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5842 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbarbaras\/files\/2020\/05\/gifts.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> June- Health and Wellbeing\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the hot weather that hopefully we have all been enjoying we are going to look at ways to help us stay hydrated.\u00a0 We know that we need to drink plenty of water and ensure we do that more frequently during hot days.<\/p>\n<p>Another great way to enjoy the hot weather is with a lovely cool Slushie!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbarbaras\/files\/2020\/05\/slush.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5828 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/stbarbaras\/files\/2020\/05\/slush.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yum Yum.\u00a0 Below there is a great recipe, with a little bit of science thrown in, that lets you make a slush with your hands!!
