Good morning everyone! <\/p>\n

How are you all? I hope you have managed to make your bed and have your breakfast.<\/p>\n

I hope you got on okay with yesterday’s tasks. What new sound did you learn again? That’s right, the ph<\/strong> sound. Did you manage to think of lots of words that begin with this sound?<\/p>\n

Common Words: one, first, little<\/h2>\n

Ask your child to think of a strategy to help them spell each new common word correctly. For example, they might spot a word within a word that could help them. On<\/strong>e has the word on<\/strong> in it and they might spot it<\/strong> in lit<\/strong>tle. They can choose a strategy that works best for them.<\/p>\n

Writing <\/h2>\n

Once your child has written their sentences ask them to check that they have included their core writing targets.<\/p>\n
