Have you brushed your teeth and made your bed?<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with our morning prayer and today we will say a special Hail Mary and the Eternal rest prayer for all those who have died recently.<\/p>\n<p>Eternal rest, grant unto them O&#8217;Lord<\/p>\n<p>And let perpetual light shine upon them,<\/p>\n<p>May they rest in peace,<\/p>\n<p>Amen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">RE<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As it is the month of May, we would be organising and creating an altar in class.\u00a0 We would have a statue of Our Lady and lovely pictures of Mary and some beautiful flowers.\u00a0 Below is a little art activity for you to have a go at making your own flowers, there are lots of good ideas on this website. My girls and I did some of these yesterday and they were good fun. However, if you would rather draw or paint some flowers then that is fine also.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"o7dci7p6re\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/kreativeinlife.com\/flower-crafts-kids\/\">Flower Crafts for Kids<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Flower Crafts for Kids&#8221; &#8212; Kreative in Kinder\" src=\"https:\/\/kreativeinlife.com\/flower-crafts-kids\/embed\/#?secret=59Ty4d8hIT#?secret=o7dci7p6re\" data-secret=\"o7dci7p6re\" width=\"525\" height=\"296\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It would also be nice if you could say a Hail Mary every night before bedtime during the month of May.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Literacy<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, I gave P3 their phoneme for this week and the P4&#8217;s got some common words.<\/p>\n<p>P3 &#8211; If you have play doh, why not spell out the phoneme words using the play doh.\u00a0 Use one colour for &#8220;oe&#8221; and add the surrounding letters.\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t have any play doh, can you use something else around the house? Eg spaghetti, buttons, pipe cleaners<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If none of the above, you can paint or draw the words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>P4 &#8211; Write a sentence for each of your common words.\u00a0 Underline your common word.\u00a0 Use your spelling strategies to help you spell them. Eg. How many syllables does it have?<\/p>\n<p>Using the reading book you chose last week, write a summary of your book so far.
