Primary One\/Two were very excited coming to school this morning as they were cooking in the kitchen. The vegetables that they harvested yesterday were ready to go into delicious homemade soup.\u00a0 The children\u00a0 had to give the vegetables a good wash first though!<\/p>\n
The children\u00a0 learned how to use the grater when preparing the carrots for the soup.<\/p>\n
They added potatoes, carrots and onion and some magic stock. The smell was as good as the taste!<\/p>\n
Miss Ross reports that the children\u00a0 had a lovely afternoon doing purposeful play; learning role play through Percy and his friends, Making Percy cards at the writing table and using play doh to make exciting things for Percy and his friends.<\/p>\n
Later everyone sat down together and had some lovely soup with nice, crusty bread.\u00a0 The boys and girls even sent some soup along to the office for Mrs.Docherty!!! Super soup indeed!!<\/p>\n
