The wonderful children of Room 1 and 2 have been learning about weight and carried out a number of activities last week to help them develop an understanding of heavy and light and also the need to weigh in a real life context.\u00a0 They baked cakes last week and had to weigh their ingredients before mixing and then baking in the oven.\u00a0 Oh and they had a lovely time eating them too.\u00a0 Later on in the week they also wrote instructions about how to bake a cake.\u00a0 No excuse not to bake at home now as we have plenty of Mary Berrys and Paul Hollywoods (Great British Bake Off)!!<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
