Thank You Certificate – St Augustine’s<\/a><\/p>\n

Many thanks for your school\u2019s donation of \u00a3700.00\u00a0to support the work of Missionary Children. Please pass on our thanks to all involved.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This donation will help Missionary Children\u00a0provide educational, medical and welfare projects for children in the poorest areas of the world.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In recent years, thanks to the generosity of Scotland\u2019s school pupils, we were able to support students in the\u00a0Likuni\u00a0Girls Secondary School, in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe,\u00a0Malawi<\/span>.\u00a0Some 650 girls attend the school, which is run by headmistress Sister Amelia\u00a0Nyendwa.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During a visit to\u00a0Malawi<\/span>, a member of our team was fortunate enough to meet three of those students, who thanked us for our support, stated their dedication to continued working and studying hard and spoke passionately about their hopes and dreams for the future.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One girl, Eunice Banda, even spoke of how the help she has received from Missio Scotland will act as a catalyst for her to help others in future.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cI promise that I will work extra hard so that you will be proud of me,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI will also work hard to fulfil my goals so that in future I can be in a position to help the needy.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have attached a \u2018Thank You\u2019 certificate for display in the school to ensure visitors are aware of the generosity of your pupils.<\/p>\n
