Our excellent and hard working Junior Road Safety Officers have been working extremely hard over the last few months to create a School Travel Plan that will impact upon the health and wellbeing of the school community.\u00a0 On Friday they opened the school assembly and informed everyone of their aims and how they hope to achieve them.\u00a0 There were quite a few of our children who received a special commendation for their quality entries to the recent Road Safety competition.\u00a0 Our school assembly also included excellent presentations by the Eco committee in regard of Switch Off Fortnight and the Global Citizens who are running a campaign in aid of Coatbridge Food Bank.\u00a0 Pupils have been asked to bring in tinned and packet food for the foodbank over the next few weeks.\u00a0 All donations will be gratefully received.\u00a0 Here are a few pictures of a very entertaining and informative assembly.<\/p>\n\n
