{"id":663,"date":"2015-09-27T19:17:11","date_gmt":"2015-09-27T19:17:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/staneprimary\/?p=663"},"modified":"2015-10-05T21:44:52","modified_gmt":"2015-10-05T21:44:52","slug":"week-beginning-tuesday-29th-september-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/staneprimary\/?p=663","title":{"rendered":"Week Beginning Tuesday 29th September 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>School and nursery re-open at the usual times on Tuesday 29th September 2015 following the long weekend.<\/p>\n<p>From Tuesday, Breakfast Club will be open to the children from 8.15am-8.45am. \u00a0However, last entry must be 8.45am to ensure that the pupils are supervised at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Due to illness, Miss Tiffney won&#8217;t be in school this week. \u00a0Mrs. Glen will be teach\u00a0P4\/5 on Tuesday and Wednesday and Mrs. Scott on Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 29th September 2015 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mr. Clark will be out of school all day to attend a meeting in another primary school.<\/li>\n<li>11.30am-12pm:\u00a0 P5 Kodaly Music lesson with Mrs. McGregor.<\/li>\n<li>1.45pm-3.45pm: \u00a0Mrs.\u00a0Robert attending P2\/3 Phonics into Spelling training at the Literacy Base. \u00a0Mrs. Scott will\u00a0teach Primary 3.<\/li>\n<li>2.00pm-3.00pm:\u00a0 P5\/6 Football Session with the coaches from Motherwell Football Club (Week 3).<\/li>\n<li>3.00pm-4.15pm: P5-7 After School Girls Football Club (Gym Kit and Water required).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 30th September 2015 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mrs. McLean\u00a0is out of school all day to attend a Coaching and Mentoring Course at Glasgow University. \u00a0Mrs. Scott will teach Primary 1\/2 instead of Mrs. McLean on Wednesday afternoon.<\/li>\n<li>9.30am-10.30am: Miss Brown will work with Mr O&#8217;Donnell in Primary 1\/2 as part of our Nursery to Primary 1 transition programme.<\/li>\n<li>9.45am-10.15am:\u00a0 Celebrating Success Assembly. \u00a0<em>Certificate focus \u2013 We are kind and helpful (Pupil of the Week) and Daily Writing (Worker of the Week).<\/em><\/li>\n<li>10.15am-10.30am:\u00a0 Tea with Mr. Clark.<\/li>\n<li>11.00am-12.00pm: \u00a0Mrs. Scott will\u00a0meeting with the new team of parent helpers.<\/li>\n<li>1.30pm-2.30pm: Revered Abernethy-Barclay, the new minister at Shotts EU Congregational Church is visiting to meet with Mr. Clark.<\/li>\n<li>3.15pm-4.30pm:\u00a0 Teaching Staff Meeting to discuss our Focus Weeks and to work on our Improvement Plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thursday 1st October 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mr. Clark will be out of school all day to attend a meeting in another primary school.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714;font-size: 1rem\">From 9.00am:\u00a0 Flu Immunisation Programme for P1-7 Pupils.\u00a0 The team from the Flu Immunisation Programme will be in school to administer the Winter Flu Spray to children in P1-7. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>9.00am-12.00pm: \u00a0Mrs. McCabe from the Computer Centre will be in school to work with Mrs. White and P6\/7 to set up their ePortfolios.<\/li>\n<li>9.30am-10.30am: \u00a0Mrs. McCafferty\u00a0will work with Mr O&#8217;Donnell in Primary 1\/2 as part of our Nursery to Primary 1 transition programme.<\/li>\n<li>1.30pm-3.00pm:\u00a0 Nursery and P1\/2 and P2 Transition Play Session\u00a0&#8211; the children in the pm nursery class and those children who work in the open area will enjoy an afternoon of &#8216;Pirate&#8217; themed stations as part of our Early Learning transition programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday 2nd October 2015\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10.00am-12.30pm:\u00a0 P5\/6 attending Sports Hub Club at Wishaw Sports Centre.<\/li>\n<li>10.45am-11.45am: \u00a0Mrs. Hope\u00a0will work with Mr O&#8217;Donnell in Primary 1\/2 as part of our Nursery to Primary 1 transition programme.<\/li>\n<li>1.30pm-3.30pm: \u00a0Mr. Clark and Mrs. Linfoot will attend a meeting of the\u00a0Nursery\u00a0Area Cluster at New Stevenston Primary School.<\/li>\n<li>2.15pm-2.45pm:\u00a0 Golden Time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School and nursery re-open at the usual times on Tuesday 29th September 2015 following the long weekend.
