{"id":1893,"date":"2016-01-08T20:04:55","date_gmt":"2016-01-08T20:04:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/staneprimary\/?page_id=1893"},"modified":"2020-02-26T12:24:02","modified_gmt":"2020-02-26T11:24:02","slug":"pupil-leadership-team","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/staneprimary\/?page_id=1893","title":{"rendered":"Pupil Leadership Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pupil Leadership Team at Stane Primary School is formed from pupils in Primary 7. \u00a0Each pupil was selected following a speech outlining their key skills and qualities.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the PLT consists of two School Captains and two Vice-Captains and two House Captains for each of the four Houses.<\/p>\n<p>The remit of the School and Vice-Captains are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to represent the views of the Pupil Forum.<\/li>\n<li>to meet regularly with the Head teacher to make decisions about school issues.<\/li>\n<li>to have an input on the School Improvement Plan<\/li>\n<li>to represent the school at community and authority events<\/li>\n<li>to welcome and provide tours to guests and dignitaries.<\/li>\n<li>to set an example to the other pupils in the school<\/li>\n<li>to present the &#8216;Worker of the Week&#8217; certificates at assembly.<\/li>\n<li>to help prepare and present aspects of the Celebrating Success assembly.<\/li>\n<li>to update the &#8216;Celebrating Success&#8217; display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The remit of the House Captains are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to lead the School Houses in events and competitions.<\/li>\n<li>to collect and total the House Points each week and update the House total display.<\/li>\n<li>to set an example to the other pupils in the House<\/li>\n<li>to meet regularly with the Head teacher to make decisions about school issues.<\/li>\n<li>to have an input on the School Improvement Plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New Captains will be elected each year and pupils may only serve for one year as a member of the Pupil Leadership Team.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pupil Leadership Team at Stane Primary School is formed from pupils in Primary 7. \u00a0Each pupil was selected following a speech outlining their key skills and qualities.
