Our S3 History classes are currently taking part in North Lanarkshire’s Shellshock project to help commemorate World War 1.<\/p>\n

The pupils were visited this week by Dave, Gillian and Emma from Summerlee\u00a0who introduced them to World War One and the idea of Shellshock.<\/p>\n

The pupils got the chance to handle artefacts from World War One and learn about the conditions in the Trenches and the effects this had on the mental health of Soldiers during the war.<\/p>\n
