What Is Science?
The short answer – Science is observing the world by watching, listening, and recording. Science is curiosity in thoughtful action about the world and how it behaves.
In St Andrew’s High School Science faculty, you will study:
S1/2 Broad General Education. You will learn about the lab and the apparatus we use. You will start your journey towards thinking like a Scientist by studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics at level 2 and 3.
S3/4 A choice of BGE Biology, Chemistry and Physics at level 3 and 4 before moving onto the Senior Phase (N3,4 or 5).
S5/6 Opting for Science in S5/6 will allow you to study Biology, Chemistry and Physics at National 5, Higher or Advanced Higher. There may also be the opportunity to undertake a National Progression Award in Science and Technology.
