Spring Walk

Today we went on a Spring walk, looking out for signs of Spring. We saw lots of daffodils and buds growing on trees, we even saw frogspawn in the stream.

During our Fairyland topic, the children planted their own ‘magic’ bean and watched it grow in class. They have now taken their plants home to look after. Post photos on our blog so we can see your plant growing!

Goodbye Chicks

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks with the chicks, we have learned lots about the life cycle and how to look after and care for an animal. It was sad saying goodbye! Look out for the Easter cards going home just before the holidays, there will be a special photo in these.

Living Eggs

On Monday we got a special delivery to our class, 10 little eggs for us to care for!

This morning we got a big surprise! 7 chicks had hatched during the night and we even got to see another chick hatch in class, it is very exciting. Tomorrow we will move the chicks into their big box and we will get a chance to hold them. Can you spot the last chick to hatch?
