New York Trip

Every two years the Social Subjects department have participated in an international excursion to the USA. We visit New York City and Washington D.C with a small stopover in Philadelphia.

The trip is open to any pupil studying a Social Subject and the selection process begins in S3 with the eventual trip in S5.

The attractions we visit in New York are –The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, The United Nations and the Empire State Building.

On our stopover in Philadelphia we visit Liberty Bell and the continue on to Washington D.C where we take in The White House, The Washington Monument and the Capitol Hill to name a few.

Every Trip has roughly 45 pupils and 5 members of staff.
