Weekly Update: 24th – 28th February

Lent
- Thanks to Fr Travers and Fr Ghislain for celebrating our Ash Wednesday services. The following celebrations will take place throughout the period of Lent.
  - Mass on Tuesdays at 12.30pm
  - Rosary on Wednesdays at 8.45am
  - Food Bank Thursday collection
  - Mass on Friday at 8.35am
Shoot for Success
- Week 2 of the Shoot for Success project for S1 students covered healthy choices and being active. The students also enjoyed a day of Cycling, tennis and fit-steps out at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld.
S5 & S6 Report Cards
- S5 & S6 reports cards were issued this week, any student who has not received theirs should contact the school office.
Art & Design
- Artist Ross Muir was in the school working with the S3 Art & Design pupils. This proved to be another great experience for them with lots of invaluable guidance and feedback.
DYW & STEM
- Well done to our fabulous S2 Go4Set team The Curious Creators who took part in the Celebration and Assessment Day. Excellent effort and teamwork displayed throughout the entire project from the team.
Sports News
- Well done to the S6 Netball team who defeated Airdrie Academy. Everyone in the team each put in a good performance with Player of the Match being Mari Brennan.
- Congratulations to the Hollie & Ellis Angus (S2) who won the U16 Scottish Basketball Championship with their Lady Rocks Basketball squad.
