- Tree of Knowledge
We welcomed back the Tree of Knowledge to the school to work with our S3 students. Another excellent and worthwhile series of workshops to help pupils with their learning.
- Charity Cycle
The S3 Girls Group completed a Virtual Cycling Charity Challenge. They cycled a combined distance of 667 miles which is the distance from Coatbridge to Paris in aid of the Sisters of the Gospel of Life. Thanks to the S3 girls group for organising & all the staff who helped them make the distance.
- Eco Group
The S3 Eco Group started their wall art project. We look forward to seeing the end product.
- S3 Focus Group
We thank the SmartSTEM’s team for organising a great morning of workshops for the S3 Focus Group. Lots of team work, problem solving and creativity on show today with RAF Engagement, New College Lanarkshire and Glasgow Kelvin College.
- Social Subjects
S2 Geography students enjoyed a trip to Dynamic Earth. A Fabulous day of learning about 3D cinemas, icebergs and building earthquake proof buildings.
S1 students enjoyed a visit from Zoo Lab UK. Everyone had a great time learning about animals from different biomes.
- S4 Report Cards
S4 reports card were issued this week to students. Any student who did not receive their report card should see Mr Healy or Miss Doyle.
- Giant Heptathlon
Well done to our Heptathlon team who were bronze medal winners in the West Region Finals today. A fantastic performance from each of them.
