Here at St Aidan’s High School you will find a Modern Languages Department with a team of dedicated and passionate linguists, supporting our pupils on their learning journey. We are totally committed to sharing our passion, skills and experience with the young people in our care. Learning a language opens many doors for our young people. Learning a second language increases awareness of other cultures. Immersion in different, new and exciting cultures encourages a more global view of the world and a greater tolerance and respect for others in our young people. Businesses that compete internationally need employees who can competently communicate in the locales where they do business.
