A mixed emotions message today. Excited that you will soon be on your Summer Holidays but incredibly sad that I haven’t seen you for over 3 months. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to some down time.<\/p>\n
Our last 3 days look like this.<\/p>\n
Monday- Sports Day (details and updates are on the school Facebook and Twitter pages)<\/p>\n
Tuesday – Virtual class Teddy Bear’s Picnic (time to be confirmed)<\/p>\n
Wednesday – School Farewell Tea live from St. Mary’s via Teams @11am<\/p>\n
We have come so far since the start of the year, we have developed a whole new range of vocabulary and technology skills. Who knew in August that by June we would all know about the R-number, social distancing, social isolation, shielding and the 2 metre rule to name but a few. They certainly didn’t form part of my teaching plan that’s for sure. However, he we are, connected virtually. I hope you get a chance to join me on Teams on Tuesday for a class celebration.<\/p>\n
Thank you so much for all the adaptations you have made and for all you have done for your children this year, before and after Lockdown. Your support has meant a lot. Hopefully the sun shines for us over the summer.<\/p>\n
