This includes the management of staff, curriculum, resources and communication in the school.\u00a0 In addition the Head Teacher is responsible for managing the corporate life of the school by creating a good school ethos, ensuring positive school discipline and liaising with parents, the local community and the outside agencies which come into contact with the school.\u00a0 The Head Teacher is professional adviser to the Parent Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acting Depute Head Teacher \u2013 Mrs Mhairi McCallum<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsibility for the Language and Communication Support Centre and Pre-School Assessment Class<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance of Teaching and Learning<\/li>\n<li>School Improvement Priorities 1 &amp; 2 \u2013 close the attainment gap in literacy and numeracy<\/li>\n<li>Child Protection responsibility and Pastoral Care<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for whole school planning of Support for Learning<\/li>\n<li>Management and Implementation of GIRFEC including GIRFME Plans and CSP\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>School Link with Outside Agencies<\/li>\n<li>Increasing Parental\/Community Engagement<\/li>\n<li>Data Champion (ACEL, SIMD 1 &amp;
