Within\u00a0baking and cooking opportunities\u00a0the children\u00a0have been\u00a0using language of comparison as they become increasingly familiar with quantities which are bigger, smaller, more, less, before, after and altogether.<\/p>\n

Some of the children have been learning how to order numbers from 0 – 10 and\u00a0used the long jump they created to count how far they could reach.<\/p>\n

In the realisation that there was no phone book in the role play area it was decided to create a book where they could call on characters from favourite stories.<\/p>\n
