You&#8217;ll find them all in the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/schliboz\/chapter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Exploring Oz<\/a> menu, all listed by chapter.<\/p>\n<p>We know you probably don&#8217;t have lots of craft materials around your house, but use your imagination &#8211; what can you use instead? Could you twist the challenge to something you do have materials for? Could you make something online? Or maybe you could even make a challenge for someone else?<\/p>\n<p>Whatever materials you find, please check that you can use them first!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re stuck, have a look at some other ideas below. Just remember to be careful at all times.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Model materials<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>clean packaging e.g. cereal boxes are great for cardboard<\/li>\n<li>natural materials like twigs, leaves, grasses, stones, fir cones etc<\/li>\n<li>Lego, Playmobil, play dough or any other building materials around<\/li>\n<li>old boxes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Music \/ Sound<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>learn the words to a new song<\/li>\n<li>try writing your own song<\/li>\n<li>you could collect sounds or\u00a0make your own sound effects<\/li>\n<li>create a playlist of appropriate songs<\/li>\n<li>change the lyrics of a song to match the challenge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Photography and film<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>use your phone camera app to edit and play with images<\/li>\n<li>recreate a scene from the book<\/li>\n<li>make a 5 frame silent film with stills and word frames &#8211; you don&#8217;t need to animate it unless you&#8217;re feeling really adventurous<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drawings and artwork of all kinds<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>create a poster<\/li>\n<li>design a new book jacket<\/li>\n<li>make a word cloud<\/li>\n<li>arrange your clothes to make patterns and pictures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Creative writing<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>try writing a poem, a script, a short story or a description that fits the challenge<\/li>\n<li>organise your writing into a shape<\/li>\n<li>try some comic book or graphic novel writing<\/li>\n<li>invent new words to describe Oz<\/li>\n<li>tell us a joke<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Movement<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>learn a new dance move<\/li>\n<li>suggest a location to visit or explore<\/li>\n<li>invent a new game<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Puzzles<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>make a crossword, or word search<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other creative ideas<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>baking &#8211; if you have both the ingredients and adult supervision.
