We all know lions roar, but that’s not the only noise they can make.
Humans have words for lots of animal noises and most of them try to recreate the noise the animal makes. This is called onomatopoeia. But did you realise the words depend on what language you’re speaking?

Listen to an animal noise of your own choice and try to copy it. Could you come up with a word that shows how that animal sounds?
