Not all sharks are hunters. Basking Sharks might be the second largest fish in the oceans but they eat plankton by filtering seawater through their gills. You can sometimes see them in the seas around Scotland.

Challenge yourself!

Basking Sharks are endangered but there is a suggestion to create a Basking shark ‘safe zone’ off Scottish coast. Do you think this is a good idea?

Try using the Office 365 tools to design a badge showing your support for or against a Scottish shark safe zone.

You can also look at the Help with Challenges page to come up with your own shark challenge.
