A little bit about me🤓🦄

I am Casey I am going to tell u a little snip of my life. When I was 5 years old I started football ⚽️I have always loved football because it is a team game and I love ❤️ playing it with my friends.  I wasn’t the only one to start at 5 years old, I was with a girl called Julie.  She started at the same time as me and we loved that we had a friend there.  I am talking about friends so I’ll tell u a little bit about my other friends.  Julie is Sporty and a kind best friend.  Aisha is a crazy best friend that loves Pugs🐶A LOT! Rebecca a tiny best friend and funny 😂. Logan is an amazing 😉  Best friends that loves to play with me.  Macy is a mental best friend that loves gerbils 🐹 And Lauren is a fun interactive friend that’s very smart. That’s my Best Friends and that’s me done today.  I’ll see u another day, byeeeee!!👋🏻

Normal School Days👍🏽

Today we are going to tell you about Primary 7’s science fayre , our French lesson and Kieran Tierney.

Primary 7’s Science Fayre

The science fayre is when the P7’s battle against each other with experiments, and all other classes come to see, as well as a few of the science teachers from Dalziel High School. For example we saw a stall which had how brain freeze works and how you get it, walking on eggs and how they don’t crack when you walk on them, and many more.

French Lessons

On  a Tuesday afternoon after lunch Miss Davis from room 16 comes into our class to teach us some French. Today we learnt about food and how to order our lunch.

Kieran Tierney

On Saturday 27th May 2017 when Celtic were playing Aberdeen, Kieran Tierney got whacked across the face by Jayden Stockley and broke his jaw and I (Lauren) got a poster signed with my name on it and his signature.  At full time the final score was 2-1 to Celtic🍀

Thanks for reading byeeeeeeeee!

Our Classroom😋🙂🤓

Hi, it’s Casey again and I am going to talk about my classroom. We have a lot of fun like Art, P.E, Sumdog and story writing and we have an awesome teacher 👩🏻‍🏫Mrs McGinty! I think my class is the best because we have lots of pens and pencils and I have all my friends in my class I Love ❤️ it!! On a Tuesday afternoon we have Miss Davies teaching us French. It’s really really fun.  On a Friday we have Swimming 🏊 so we miss assembly but that’s ok.  But we still do Weekly Wonder, which is the best part.  On a Tuesday and Thursday we go in the Ashroturf and I play football with the boys and some girls like for example: Julie,Aisha,Rebecca,Lauren W and Niamh and it is really funny when Niamh plays ,she misses the ball hahah 😂and she is scared too touch it so she just runs off. Then on a Wednesday we do Story Writing and it is so much fun because we use Ipad sometimes to do a Blog or just to get ideas which is good.  Then we get into our Star Writer groups and decide who is Star Writer which is very exciting and then on a Friday we have Knowetop Teams; I am in the Heath and Wellbeing group which is really fun because we got to try different fruits and we are testing out different sports.  Now that’s me down gabbing about my Classroom, I hope u come back to see my next blog.  Byeeeeee!!👋🏻🤓

An exciting normal school day 😀📝📕✏️

Hello this is our third class blog.  We are going to tell you about our normal exciting day in class 🙂 .  We started with silent reading 📚then we moved into our maths seat.  We all did a great piece of work.  Then we went out for playtime and played with our friends, soon we came back in and moved AGAIN into our literacy seats.  We have three different groups they are called The Last Wolf , Bettle Boy and Charlie And The Choclate 🍫 Factory.  Then we went for lunch. When we went back in after lunch we drew the inside or the outside of a pepper.  We had a choice of using oil pastels chalk pastels or pencils to colour it in.  To end the day we sang a rights of a child song with our depute head Mrs Prentice.  We had a great day.

GERBILS 🐭🐹

Hi my name is Macy.  I’m obsessed with gerbils and so I’m going to teach you how to care for your gerbil:-

  1.  If you’re going to buy a gerbil get two or three because if you get one it can die of boredom and loneliness, so get two or three.
  2. Wash your gerbils maybe every two weeks.  To clean your gerbils put lukewarm water in the sink and shampoo is optional.  Then towel dry them.
  3. To let your gerbils have fun, take an old toilet roll tube and they will shred it and it makes their teeth flat.

Well that’s that for me and I hope I have helped you byeeeeeee.

Room 17’s Blog 😉

This is our first post about what we have done in room 17on Friday and Monday.  On Friday we came in and collected Mary’s Meals backpacks for children who aren’t as fortunate as us.  Then we went straight to swimming.  When we got there one group went straight to swimming first and the other group went to dry sports (volleyball) first.  When we were in the swimming pool we going over a few different strokes an then at dry sports we were doing some volleyball games.  Everybody in room 17 really enjoys going to swimming and dry sports.  When we came back from swimming our class took part in UNICEF day for change by wearing something on our head whether it was a hat or a pair of pants.  We liked taking part in it because we got to wear stuff that we wouldn’t normally get to wear to school.  Monday morning was fairly normal.  We did some maths and reading.  In the afternoon we did art with peppers !  We got put into partners and then the teacher cut the peppers in half, and every pair got a half, then we each had to draw what we could see, once we had finished drawing it we got black chalk and had to smudge it in using light and dark.  Our class enjoyed this because we love to do art.
