{"id":734,"date":"2016-06-03T15:06:45","date_gmt":"2016-06-03T15:06:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/rochsollochprimary\/?p=734"},"modified":"2016-06-03T15:06:50","modified_gmt":"2016-06-03T15:06:50","slug":"a-roaring-great-topic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/rochsollochprimary\/2016\/06\/03\/a-roaring-great-topic\/","title":{"rendered":"A Roaring Great Topic!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, P2\/3 provided an incredible showcase of their topic learning by turning our dining hall into a dinosaur museum!\u00a0 The boys and girls in the class have absolutely loved learning about dinosaurs this term, and their learning has stomped its way across the whole curriculum.<\/p>\n<p>Parents and guests were able to enjoy being led around the museum by the on-site tour guides, and were given the opportunity to observe and take part in some of the following exhibits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fossil finder<\/li>\n<li>Shadow puppets<\/li>\n<li>Pin the Tail on the Dino<\/li>\n<li>Gift shop<\/li>\n<li>Dino Bite Caf\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Gallery<\/li>\n<li>3D egg display<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experiences like this bring learning to life for our pupils, and this is certainly a topic they will remember for many years to come.\u00a0 On top of some wonderful learning, the pupils were able to raise a marvellous \u00a3114.76 for Glasgow Children\u2019s Hospital through the sale of hand-made souvenirs in the Gift Shop.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, P2\/3 provided an incredible showcase of their topic learning by turning our dining hall into a dinosaur museum!\u00a0 The boys and girls in the class have absolutely loved learning about dinosaurs this term, and their learning has stomped its way across the whole curriculum.
