This week Primary 3 have been working so hard and having so much fun. We have really been thinking about the ways in which we can describe different things and this has helped us in our taught writing sessions. We have been focusing on Islam as part of our RME topic and designed our own Islamic art tiles! We have been loving just dance videos as part of our mini brain breaks also. As part of our new IDL topic we were having a look at different types of crystals and what we noticed about each of them. It has been a very fun week for us all!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week Primary 3 have been so busy learning lots of new things. We have started a new topic for our maths, focusing on Money! We are loving this. We are really working on our dribbling skills for basketball and hope to play a game next time! For World Book Day we had lots of fun designing new things and listening to stories. As our Winter Olympic topic comes to an end, we thought we could step inside being an athlete and created some of our own freeze frames! We had so much fun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week Primary 3 have been learning about the different types of passes in basketball. We had a lot of fun doing this and practising our skills. For our Winter Olympics topic, we decided to research one of the sports and link our taught writing to it. This was so much fun! In Maths we have been looking at shape and multiplication\/division! This has been tricky but we have loved the challenge! We even had Team GB contact us to take part in a mini Winter Olympics! We had so much fun!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs H was blown away by the learning in P2 and P3.\u00a0 It was so lovely to have a group of children from 2 classes to share about their learning.\u00a0 It doesn’t matter what class you have your register in, P2 and P3 told me you go to the classroom that has the right learning for you!<\/div>\n

For Reading, children shared a range of comprehension activities that they complete independently!\u00a0 There were so many good examples, but why do they complete them?\u00a0 To check for understanding!\u00a0 P2 and P3 know all about it.<\/div>\n

In Maths, it is all about multiplication.\u00a0 We had arrays, continual adding, counting out loud and even writing and drawing on the tables!\u00a0 WOW!\u00a0 What a fun Friday, thank you team!<\/div>\n
