Our Curriculum Rationale has been created as a whole school community.\u00a0 Pupils, staff members and families all contributed in 2023 to make the vision for our school come together.<\/p>\n
Our school community is strong and our vision of \u2018Teamwork Makes the DREAM Work\u2019 is evident in everything we do.\u00a0 In partnership with parents and carers, learners and partner agencies, we aspire to get it right for every child through our caring approach and high-quality learning and teaching.\u00a0 Our school is a community where children\u2019s rights are learned, taught, practiced, respected, protected and promoted.\u00a0 We create an ethos which ensures a positive, respectful and stimulating environment that nurtures every child towards reaching their full potential and enabling them to have the skills and confidence to make a positive contribution to the world in which we live.<\/p>\n
In session 2021-22 the Pupil Council led the development of our school vision and values.\u00a0 In consultation with staff, learners, parents\/carers and partners, common threads at the heart of our school are the best learning environment for all, community development caring for where we live and nurturing relationships in and beyond our school.\u00a0 Our school vision is getting it right for every child, fully endorsing inclusion adapting our practice to suit all learners.\u00a0 Our values are best described in 3 words \u2013 live, learn and love.\u00a0 Teamwork makes the dream work is the school motto, the entire community embraces this and supports our school vision and values.<\/p>\n
