Meet Our Captains

After the recent appointment of this year’s school Captain’s, Georgia Knox and Alastair Condie,

we decided to carry out an informal interview to get to know them better.

 

  1. If you had to choose a song to duet, what would it be?

Alastair: “High School Musical? I’m up for any pop trash”

Georgia: “We can sing High School Musical then”

Alastair: “High School Musical, Mamma Mia, all the trashy musicals”

  1. When you play Monopoly which piece do you play as?

Alastair: “The Scotty dog. Has to be the Scotty dog”

Georgia: “I was going to say the scotty dog too”

  1. What would your ship name be?

Alastair: “Galastair sounds like a disease. Alorgia sounds even worse”

Georgia: “I like Galastair, it flows off the tongue”

  1. What do you like do when you’re not occupied with your Captaincy? What are your hobbies?

Georgia: “I work as a waitress, I do homework, I go to the gym, I go running”

Alastair: “Mines just Hockey. Hockey and gaming”

  1. What would you class as your greatest achievement?

Georgia: “Probably my exam results.”

Alastair: “I think mine is the Under 15 West District Final. I captained my team to the win because our Captain was injured. We were 3 down but won 4:3”

  1. What are your intentions as Captains?

Alastair: “Things like the newspaper to promote pupil voice, making the mental health ambassadors do more, getting the Parliament up and running”

Georgia: “I would say inclusivity and pupil voice”

  1. What would you say was your most supreme ability?

Alastair: “What am I, Kim Jong-Un? I think it’d have to be work ethic for both of us.”

  1. What’s your go to selfie pose?

Alastair: “Triple chin?”

Georgia: “Usually just a smile”

  1. What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Alastair: “Start every day as a new day”

Georgia: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard”

  1. What’s one you wish you were able to do that you cannot do?

Georgia: “Sing…. well”

Alastair: “Sign language. I’d love to be able to do sign language”
