This month P6/5 have had so much fun!!!

We have been taking part in lots of different activities. At the beginning of the month our class made an assembly all about our Brown Trout and it was EPIC!! We made such a good job of our own assembly that P4/3 asked us to write a song for theirs. Well done to our winner Brooke 🙂

We got told that the P6’s could become buddies if they wanted to and some of the P5’s had an opportunity to become a buddy too. We got questions on a piece of paper, and the P5’s got their names put in a hat. If their names got pulled out, they could become a buddy.

We also started our new topic on New Lanark. We learned that David Dale founded New Lanark in 1786. We also learned that Richard Arkwright was a famous Inventor that created the Water Frame and started the industrial revolution. We became inventors like Richard Arkwright and made models of what we thought the Water Frame would look like (have a look at us in action below).  This was more difficult than it looked and only some of them worked.
