The children in Room 13 have been sowing seeds and growing them in class. They’re starting to sprout already after just one week!

Pupil voice groups
Pupil voice groups met today to take our ideas forward. The eco group were auditing our playground equipment and the St Andrew’s Ambassadors were raising awareness of the Hospice by colouring logos to display around the school.
Are we Super Tasters?
Today we took part in a science experiment to find out whether we are non tasters, tasters or super tasters. We had to coat the front of our tongues in food colouring then count the number of papillae in one small section. These are the tiny lumps that cover our tongues. Those of us who have five or fewer in the small area are non tasters, if we have between six and ten we are tasters and if we have more than ten we are super tasters. We discovered that in Room 13, two of us are non tasters, ten are tasters and we have seven super tasters!
Tarsia Champions
We have been learning how to multiply and divide decimals by 10, 100 and 1000. We had a fun tarsia activity to match the questions to the correct answers. Me and my partner completed the tarsia in under 10 minutes. We are the champions of tarsia.
Panto Pandemonium
Recently Primary 6 and 7 have been taking part in a school Pantomime called Panto Pandemonium. I was backstage. The actors in the Pantomime were great at acting. Sadly the Pantomime is over.

Panto Pandemonium
On Tuesday and Wednesday room 12, 13 and 14 were doing a pantomime. I was in backstage. I was helping with all the scenery and all the painting. The pantomime was a excellent pantomime. It felt like the story was coming to life. The funniest person in the pantomime was Ellis. The first two shows of it was great but the last show was excellent.
Secret Santa
The boys and girls in Room 13 took part in a Secret Santa this morning. They had lots of fun opening their early Christmas presents.
