Continuous or core provision refers to the resources and experiences available consistently for children, which have been thoughtfully put in place to allow learners to explore and achieve experiences and outcomes of Curriculum for Excellence in a natural and developmentally appropriate way.
Enhanced provision is when, after observation and responsive planning, additional provocations or enhancements to the area are added to further stimulate and deepen learning.
