Curriculum for Excellence<\/strong> aims to provide an improved, more flexible and enriched curriculum for all children and young people from 3 \u2013 18.<\/div>\n

Curriculum for Excellence<\/strong> is divided into<\/div>\n
\u00a0four capacities \u2013<\/div>\n
to enable each child or young person to be a:<\/div>\n
successful learner, responsible citizen,<\/em><\/div>\n
effective contributor and confident individual.<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The main focus is literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
There are regular opportunities for pupils to<\/div>\n
apply their skills and learning across the curriculum and<\/div>\n
in contexts in and out of the classroom.<\/div>\n
Pupils are also given opportunities to develop<\/div>\n
skills for learning, life and work.<\/div>\n
