The children in Dunrobin have been using the Travel Tracker website to record how we get to school in the mornings. Each day, we record our journey. This graph shows that most children are active, choosing either to walk to school or to park and stride. Once we have been active by walking, cycling or using park and stride for a whole month, we will start to receive reward badges. The more active we are, the more rewards we will receive. We are looking forward to seeing how many rewards we will achieve this month!
This week we have  been learning about positive and negative numbers. Today we were looking at thermometers and speaking about how they show negative numbers when the temperature drops below 0 degrees Centigrade. We coloured in blank thermometers to show different temperatures.
Â
we have been learning about global water shortages and have written news reports about them. You can see one here.
The boys and girls in Room 14 have been learning about Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Over the past few weeks they have been looking at his artwork and have created pictures in the style he used. This week they have created their own drawings inspired by Mackintosh’s most famous “Glasgow Rose” designs.
Have a look at some of their wonderful work!
