In room 14 we have been doing a project. We made our own little island called Palm Tree Paradise. Here is a bit about my character Katie Henderson.
Katie Henderson was born on the 3rd of November in 1992.she originally comes from L.A.Katie was born in a penthouse(they were very rich!)then they moved to a beautiful remote island called Palm tree paradise. Katie comes from a family off 3 her twin Rachel Henderson and her big brother ilyas Henderson. She is currently 22 years of age .
After Katie moved to palm tree paradise island she joined a very important job .that very job was to be a class room assistant.
all family’s have majorly important responsibility’s to do with water .if these responsibility’s are broken the island will have no water. The Henderson’s water responsibility is to check the water level
Primary 6 in Dunrobin are doing a Global Storyline topic called “Our Water: Our Life”. Throughout this topic we will be learning all about water wants and needs throughout the world. We will also be learning through Drama and have created our very own community called Palm Tree Paradise Island, where our single water source is a well in the centre of our island that is filled with water from an aquifer down below. We brought all of our suggestions as to how our island should look and drew them on the board beore creating a frieze of our community.
Each child in our class has created their own character who lives and works on this island and each family has its own responsibility for taking care of our water source.
