Today’s Maths challenge is 🎯 Target Maths 🎯
On a piece of paper, create this target (you can change the numbers).
With a partner, take turns each of throwing a coin on to it.
🌶 The number you land on is your score. Add them up, first to 100 wins!
🌶🌶 First to 0: Start at 100 and subtract the number you land on.
🌶🌶🌶 Choose a times table. Multiply whatever you land on by that number.
I would love to see photos of your target boards and calculations. You can send me these via the P6/7 Glow email group.

Hello P6/7,
I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe.
I miss you all, as I am sure you are missing each other!
During this time it would be great for us all to stay in touch. If you go to ‘Outlook’ on your Glow launch pad, you will find your Glow emails.
I have setup a P6/7 email group where you can ask me for help or you could tell us all what you have been up to, sharing any interesting home learning ideas you have, or uploading photos of your super work.
If you successfully get on to the group, please send an email to let me know you are there.

Today’s NLC Learning Hub Maths challenge is ❓Guess Who Maths❓
If you have Guess Who at home then replace the faces with numbers. The aim is to ask questions to guess what numbers your partner has. If you don’t have the game then just make number cards.
Try this with 6 digit numbers. Good luck!

Today’s NLC Learning Hub Maths Challenge is Popcorn Maths.
All you need is two colours of paper.
One colour: a selection of numbers.
The other colour: ✖➗➕➖
Put them all in a bowl or tub.
Pick out two colours and one operation.
Complete the calculation. 🍿

Hi Primary 6/7,
I have now posted a selection of activities, links and resources from a variety of curricular areas for you to access.
You should, by no means, strive or worry to complete all of these tasks.
Over the coming weeks I will post other links and resources that you can access.
Try not to spend all your time at home on learning – check out the indoor activities list I have posted too – there are over 100 crafts, games and tasks to choose from. You and your family may decide to have a movie day, do some baking, you may be asked to help with chores or do something kind for a neighbour. You could take your learning outside – read a book, enjoy the fresh air and… don’t forget to take time to relax!
