It is a funny novel that follows the life of Sam who’s parents are lost in space. He is left in the care of the horrible Hilda Hardbottom. Sam then finds a tiny spaceship in the cabbage patch and meets a little alien called Splodge.

I know this is a very different set up to which we are all used to for reading but I hope you will enjoy the novel and develop your use of your reading tasks.
