This week we will recap on our learning of rainbows and the feelings of hope they have brought to everyone.

This week it surrounds the colour yellow, my favourite colour!

I like this colour because a lot of my favourite things are this colour – sunflowers, daisies & sunshine!

I also think it is a happy colour!

How does the colour yellow make you feel and why?

Yellow was one of Vincent Van Gogh’s favourite colours.

We learned about this famous artist earlier this year and his style of painting.

You might like to explore shadows in more detail. Wait for a sunny day and then have some fun, recording the changes in the shape of your shadow throughout the day.  With some help, you can draw around the shadows and record the differences.  You might even want to get creative with some shadow art! Why not use what you have learned about shadows to create your very own sundial?
