Silhouettes of Glasgow Cranes…

For art this week we created silhouette pictures inspired by the Glasgow ship yards of the past.

We looked at old pictures of both the Finnieston and Titan Cranes and cut out shapes from black sugar paper to create our scenes.

We think you’ll agree with Miss Girvan that they are fantastic!

Gymnastics in the sunshine…

We enjoyed doing our gymnastics lesson outside in the sunshine this week!

We worked in small groups to create balances & movements with our bodies.

Perfect Primary 2 Projects…

Primary 3b were set the challenge to create a project at home linked to our class topic of Knights & Castles. They could choose to make a model of a castle, a helmet, a sword or a shield.

I am so impressed by all of the amazing projects which have been handed in!

Thank you to all of the P3b family members for taking the time to help your child with this homework task.

World Book Day…

Today we celebrated World Book Day! 😊 It may have been slightly delayed but we still had lots of fun today dressing up as our favourite book characters…

We definitely are a class of Harry Potter fans! 4 Harrys & 7 Hermiones!!

We also had two very clean Mr. Stinks!

We bought books at the Book Aid International book sale, designed our own book tokens and took part in the Big Book Bonanza Quiz! We also spent time in our class & Miss Conway’s class where we paired up with Primary 7/6 and read together…

It really was a busy World Book Day! 📚
