We have been learning the language of old Scots.

Today we watched a short film about the Loch Ness Monster called the Ballad of Nessie.

We heard some of the old Scots language being used in the film.

We know that bonnie means beautiful, Loch means lake,  nae means no or none, wee means small, clad means dressed and that fur means for.
